First LEED Certified Multi-Family Building in Miami Beach

The property located at 7615 Harding Ave. in Miami Beach is a very unique property. It is comprised of two separate buildings -- one a multi-family building with four one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartments and a second building which is the personal dwelling of the owner of the property.

This property is very unique in many ways. First and foremost, both of these buildings were erected in the mid-1940's. It is thought that this was the very first building erected in this neighborhood's square block. It's quality construction inspired the owner to preserve its existance.

Also, the both buildings on property have achieved LEED Certification. But what is most impressive is that the multi-family home is not only the very first certified multi-family residential building certified in Miami Beach it did so by achieving the highest LEED Certification possible - Platinum.
